This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.
• Oversees one or more significant accounts within the US Army.
• Comprehends the customer’s IT and business aims, priorities, requirements, and challenges.
• Enhances business performance across all HPE business units and manages the portfolio to maximize account profitability.
• Responsible for building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
• Establishes and nurtures relevant customer relationship networks with key influencers and decision-makers in both IT and business sectors.
• Actively engages with the customer to uncover new opportunities.
• Serves as the customer’s advocate within HPE.
• Over 5 years of experience in account management.
• More than 5 years of military experience with the US Army or experience in selling to this customer base.
• At least 5 years of experience in big data, hybrid IT, IT services, digital business, information security, AI, and intelligent edge is preferred.
• Demonstrated history of managing and surpassing sales quotas.
• Familiarity with Federal funding and contracting processes.
• A university or bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.
• A background in engineering or technology, along with an advanced degree or MBA, is desired.
