This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Meet and exceed sales targets for bookings, revenue, pipeline expansion, and other related performance metrics.
• Establish Gordian's reputation as a frontrunner in the industry by providing exceptional, value-added products and services.
• Conduct in-person sales activities with both potential and existing clients in the SLED market.
• Skillfully navigate complex deals with prospective and current clients, managing relationships to maximize impact across a multi-state region.
• Formulate and articulate a territory plan, including prospecting strategies, deal plans, and client action plans for the assigned area.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Representative team to develop effective target lists and a comprehensive territory strategy.
• Identify, assess, pursue, and secure new opportunities for clients, involving necessary resources as required.
• Work in tandem with operational and sales support teams to guarantee successful solution implementation and delivery.
• Recognize cross-selling opportunities and engage the relevant overlay resources.
• Cultivate new accounts and revenue sources while achieving annual sales revenue objectives.
• Engage with various levels of decision-makers during the sales process.
• Arrange daily face-to-face meetings with current or potential buyers.
• Remain informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies, goals, and tactics.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and document all activities in the designated customer relationship management (CRM) system, Salesforce.com.
• Acquire and sustain an expert-level understanding of the company’s solutions and market competition.
• Implement FBS (Fortive Business Systems) tools and methodologies.
• Engage in continuous training to enhance professional development and job performance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
