This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create a strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and securing key opportunities within the designated territory.
• Conduct account planning for assigned accounts, collaborating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment.
• Initiate and promote sales of Workday solutions to Large Enterprise prospects, effectively communicating the Workday value proposition.
• Responsible for building relationships with new customers, focusing on deal management and connecting them with Workday solutions, especially in core financials.
• Negotiate agreements with various C-Suite Executives to finalize opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and prompt maintenance of customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
• Over 5 years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud-based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning or Analytics solutions to C-level executives from a field sales role.
• More than 5 years of experience collaborating with internal teams (pre-sales, value, inside sales) to meet quotas and manage multiple deals concurrently.
• At least 5 years of experience managing extended deal cycles, including prospecting for a segment of opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience in understanding the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by keeping up with trends and customer needs, allowing for effective positioning of Workday solutions within accounts.
• Ability to swiftly establish trust with key stakeholders.
• Previous experience collaborating with internal team members on account strategies for both short and long-term prospecting and territory management.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
