This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Comprehend the needs and objectives of prospects, effectively conveying Syndigo's value proposition to address their specific challenges.
• Employ a consultative and challenger sales methodology to secure deals with senior executives, providing weekly forecasts on expected closures.
• Collaborate with operations and solution engineering as necessary to ensure optimal platform positioning and smooth delivery of solutions/services.
• Initiate introductory meetings through networking, cold calling, emailing, and utilizing other tools in the standard sales tech stack to enhance the top-of-funnel pipeline.
• Organize and schedule online or onsite meetings with key decision-makers.
• Be adept at showcasing a SaaS-based platform and articulating critical features that set our solutions apart.
• Negotiate and establish pricing strategies and develop proposals to drive conversion.
• Negotiate contract terms within the acceptable guidelines set by commercial leadership.
• Execute the plan and finalize deals.
• Formulate prospect account strategies for owned accounts in Salesforce and consistently implement plans to penetrate through regular outbound engagement.
• Research key companies that align with ideal customer profiles and create innovative outbound messaging.
• Maintain and manage an active pipeline in Salesforce.com, accurately forecasting weekly in Clari.
• Meet weekly activity KPIs with clearly defined goals set in Salesforce for targeted prospect accounts and contacts.
• Over 5 years in a quota-carrying sales position with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
• Experience in PIM/MDM is essential.
• Fluency in German at a native level is a requirement for both written and verbal communication.
• Strong enthusiasm for pursuing and closing new logos.
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce and related solutions.
• Challenger Sales & ValueSelling certification or demonstrated expertise in other sales methodologies.
• An interest in the retail or e-commerce sectors is advantageous.
• Proven success in qualifying prospects and generating opportunities in a primarily outbound environment.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
