This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities by collaborating with Mid-Market to Enterprise companies in a designated territory, focusing on the sales of Omnitracs’s Video Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, and Compliance solutions.
• Drive revenue growth within the territory by effectively managing a sales pipeline and consistently identifying prospective customers for new sales.
• Engage in proactive prospecting activities, including conferences, cold calling, state associations, email outreach, marketing campaigns, referrals, and LinkedIn, in a remote capacity.
• Diligently manage the sales pipeline to regularly achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Create and execute strategic sales plans aligned with corporate objectives, utilizing value-based, strategic, or challenger sales methodologies.
• Possess a deep understanding of buyer personas, engaging with key clients and senior executives to negotiate and finalize deals.
• Proactively manage the sales pipeline and forecast throughout the entire sales lifecycle using Salesforce.com.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships to enhance future revenue opportunities.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Omnitracs’ products and the target industries to support sales initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business leadership teams, including Finance, Contracts, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and Engineering.
• Stay informed about industry trends, technical advancements, and competitor strategies and offerings.
• This position requires travel within the assigned territory (70%).
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software sales.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience in remote field sales.
• Experience in transportation, telematics, video safety, supply chain processes, and mobile workforce management is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in increasing sales, revenue, and profitability within a sales organization.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com.
• Familiarity with effective networking, relationship building, and new customer acquisition strategies.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced and ambitious environment.
• Skilled at informing and persuading effectively.
• Self-motivated with a proven ability to deliver high-level results with minimal supervision.
• Capable of presenting to C-level and senior executives, as well as effectively communicating with internal and inter-departmental colleagues.
