This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Deliver optimal solutions for customers.
• Secure business with both existing and prospective clients.

• Keep a precise and comprehensive pipeline and forecast of business opportunities.
• Comprehend the technical specifications and certifications required by prospects or customers.
• Manage and expedite the sales pipeline through engagement with prospects, partners, and key clients.
• Establish a strategic sales plan for your territories aligned with the MariaDB strategic vision.
• Prepare and present business reviews to senior management regarding quarterly strategies.
• Follow up with leads in your territory within company SLAs, utilizing appropriate messaging via phone, email, and social media.
• Must be open to traveling up to 20% to various company and customer sites.
• Over 7 years of experience in database/data management, ideally with in-memory caching/computing.
• Proven track record in managing large enterprise opportunities.
• Experience in selling open-source software solutions is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Business Management.
• Ability to advocate within key accounts.
• Sales expertise to navigate complex sales cycles.
• Familiarity with prospecting and opportunity development using tools like Salesloft, Salesforce.com, Zoom, Marketo, and Zoominfo.
• A proactive and optimistic attitude with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively articulate the business value of complex enterprise solutions.
