This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at enterprise clients.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide a seamless sales experience.
• Identify customer challenges and present tailored product demonstrations.
• Foster and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
• Drive account planning initiatives to enhance existing relationships.
• Track and oversee sales activities and outcomes.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor developments.
• Represent Kong with professionalism at industry events.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in enterprise sales (organizations with more than 1,000 employees).
• Established history of closing intricate deals within a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software context.
• Proven success in selling to large enterprises, especially to senior executives.
• Strong consultative selling abilities.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Familiarity with open-source software, APIs, or infrastructure software is a significant plus.
