📋 Description

• Drive sales growth and promote market expansion within the assigned territory.

• Work closely with the Marketing Team to maintain a strong lead pipeline and effective lead nurturing strategies.

• Develop and convey compelling value propositions to potential clients, emphasizing the unique advantages of our solutions.

• Enable collaborative selling opportunities with partners, leveraging synergies to maximize sales potential.

• Lead pursuit teams for larger-scale opportunities, orchestrating efforts for thorough client engagement.

• Guide and educate prospects throughout the purchasing journey, providing insights and assistance as necessary.

• Create and implement a comprehensive sales plan designed to exceed established sales targets.

• Gain a profound understanding of complex customer requirements across operational, business, and technical areas, tailoring solutions to meet these needs.

• Independently design and deliver customized presentations on Granicus, showcasing its potential to transform public engagement strategies.

• Coordinate internal resources, including sales support, marketing, and solution consultants, to present compelling pitches and proposals.

• Manage all aspects of sales activities within the designated territory, from prospecting and tracking to opportunity management, revenue forecasting, and contract negotiation.

• Actively seek leads generated through personal efforts and marketing initiatives, ensuring every opportunity is pursued.

• Assist in developing sales strategies in partnership with the management team, utilizing market insights and client feedback.

• Keep thorough documentation of all interactions, activities, and communications in our Salesforce CRM system.

• Prepare and present quarterly business reviews to Sales Management, Senior Management, and peers, offering comprehensive insights into sales performance and market trends.

• Be ready to travel up to 50% of the time to effectively engage with clients and prospects.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of Public Sector sales experience in IT, information services, or business services sold on a subscription model.

• Proven success in selling through partners, resellers, and/or integrators.

• Effective in Prospecting and Opportunity Closure: Shows a history of successfully identifying and nurturing sales leads through both direct outreach and in-person engagements, leading to the successful closure of opportunities.

• Proficient in CRM Utilization: Effectively uses customer relationship management software to track leads, manage opportunities, and streamline sales processes, ensuring timely follow-up and nurturing of prospects.

• Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Excels in dynamic, fast-paced settings, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines to optimize sales productivity and responsiveness to client needs.

• Client-Centric Problem-Solving: Demonstrates a genuine passion for assisting clients in overcoming challenges, utilizing exceptional problem-solving skills to create tailored solutions that address specific pain points and add value.

• Solution-Oriented Sales Approach: Conducts sales processes within a solution-focused framework, emphasizing strong relationships with clients and delivering persuasive oral and written communication to effectively convey value propositions and drive sales results.

• Use of Technology for Sales Enhancement: Comfortable and experienced in leveraging technology tools and platforms to boost sales effectiveness, using digital resources to streamline processes, gather insights, and engage with prospects.

• Navigating Complex Sales Environments: Skilled at maneuvering through committee-driven sales environments involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers, adept at building consensus and overcoming objections to secure successful sales outcomes.

• Influencing Abilities and Persuasive Communication: Capable of effectively persuading and influencing potential clients to consider our solutions, employing compelling arguments and persuasive communication techniques to finalize deals.

• Interpersonal Effectiveness and Collaborative Relationship-Building: Proficient in establishing strong, trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams alike, promoting collaboration and cooperation to achieve successful sales outcomes.

• Forward-Thinking and Strategic Mindset: Maintains a forward-thinking approach and strategic mindset, able to foresee market trends and client needs to proactively adjust sales strategies for long-term success.

• Strong Customer Orientation and Result Orientation: Exhibits a deep commitment to understanding and fulfilling customer needs, coupled with an unwavering focus on achieving sales targets and delivering measurable results.

• Business Acumen: Demonstrates a robust understanding of business principles and market dynamics, utilizing this knowledge to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and make informed decisions that enhance sales growth and profitability.

• Success Metrics: Proven ability to manage 30 or more active opportunities and achieve sales objectives by closing 15 or more opportunities annually.

• Capable of selling deals exceeding $100K as part of a diverse sales pipeline.
