This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• You will oversee the complete sales cycle: from prospecting and generating a pipeline to facilitating POCs, negotiating, and closing deals; all while fostering relationships that deliver long-term value for both your customers and GitGuardian.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with enterprise prospects through proactive outreach, channel partnerships, and events.
• Take charge of end-to-end sales cycles, coordinating multiple stakeholders within large buying teams: from CISOs and CTOs to Security, Engineering, and DevOps leaders.
• Plan and execute complex POCs and POVs in collaboration with your Sales Engineer.
• Develop proposals and steer multi-stakeholder negotiations alongside internal and external procurement teams.
• Ensure systematic pipeline management and precise forecasting.
• Advocate for GitGuardian's expanding product offerings, which include our NHI Governance and secrets detection capabilities.
• Proven experience as an Enterprise Account Executive in a DevOps and/or AppSec setting.
• A minimum of 5 years in enterprise software or security sales, with a history of managing intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Background in selling to Security, Engineering, or IT leadership (experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, Identity/IAM/NHI, or developer tooling is highly advantageous).
• Demonstrated ability to independently generate pipeline and meet quota.
• Comfortable managing multi-threaded enterprise deals with complex procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills: you are articulate and credible with executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%).
• Familiarity with MEDDIC or MEDDPICC sales methodologies.
