This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Implement a territory strategy aimed at acquiring new logos and fostering account growth within a specified group of enterprise clients.
• Develop, oversee, and advance a qualified sales pipeline, which includes opportunities sourced independently as well as those assisted by channel partners.
• Navigate complex customer organizations by pinpointing key stakeholders, cultivating relationships, and engaging with senior decision-makers as your expertise expands.
• Lead and support customer interactions through discovery, evaluation, proposal formulation, and solution alignment, with assistance from Sales Engineers and leadership.
• Create and present clear, value-driven proposals that link Cohesity’s platform to the customer’s security, resilience, and operational requirements.
• Work closely with channel partners and technology alliances (including NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, and AWS) to facilitate deal execution and broaden market reach.
• Ensure precise opportunity tracking and forecasting, contributing to consistent quarterly performance.
• Provide customer insights and competitive feedback to the broader sales and product teams to foster continuous improvement.
• Proven experience engaging with and supporting Information Security / Cybersecurity teams, along with a solid grasp of enterprise security frameworks, compliance standards, and the capability to align solutions with customer security and risk needs.
• A customer-centric approach and a keen interest in cybersecurity and data protection, particularly in ransomware and recovery.
• Established experience in selling enterprise technology solutions, ideally in infrastructure, SaaS, or related markets.
• Evidence of success in acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts.
• Basic understanding of data security and backup technologies, with a desire to enhance technical expertise.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) and exposure to platforms such as NetBackup, Backup Exec, or InfoScale is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Comfort in collaborating with channel partners and an interest in developing co-selling abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to present information clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Documented experience using AI tools to enhance productivity, organization, and sales efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in professional English for both customer and internal communications.
