This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote Abnormal security solutions within your designated territory, aiming to surpass the new annual recurring revenue targets.
• Manage enterprise accounts (organizations with over 3,000 mailboxes) from initial discussions through contract signing, including opportunities for upselling post-acquisition.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within enterprise accounts (organizations with over 3,000 mailboxes) to create a robust sales pipeline for achieving sales objectives.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to facilitate timely renewals and identify expansion sales opportunities.
• Consistently record outcomes and maintain precise data across all sales platforms (Salesforce, Highspot, Close Plan).
• Act as the customer/prospect advocate within internal teams such as Sales Engineering/POV, Product, and Marketing to ensure appropriate prioritization for maximizing revenue closure.
• Proven track record as an Enterprise Account Hunter with over 3 years of direct (not overlay) experience selling to enterprise-level organizations (3,000+ employees), including prospecting, acquiring new clients, and growing major accounts in competitive, incumbent-dominated markets.
• Expertise in negotiating with large organizations and successfully closing complex sales transactions.
• Demonstrated success with consistent performance exceeding sales quotas and/or ranking in the top 5% of the sales organization.
• Technically knowledgeable: Familiarity with key areas such as security, email, cloud, AI, etc.
• Experience in cyber-security software sales: Background in selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security professionals, with average sales exceeding $100,000.
• Start-up experience: Demonstrated success in a nascent company, underdog position, or new entrant competing against larger companies (limited resources—building territory through channels, tech partnerships, initial customer victories, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience.
• Actual compensation will be assessed based on various non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
• Besides the base salary, this position may qualify for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
