This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +26 more states.
• Ensure sufficient staffing to achieve production and quality benchmarks.
• Enhance team accuracy, workload capacity, and efficiency of processes.
• Oversee and guide staff while establishing measurable departmental and individual objectives.
• Conduct performance assessments, formulate performance improvement plans, and suggest merit and promotional increases.
• Ensure the completion of training programs and organize additional training as needed.
• Manage effective workflow processes utilizing workforce management technologies.
• Monitor service metrics and customer feedback to propose operational and systems modifications.
• Evaluate systems performance, audits, cost efficiencies, workflow metrics, and service trends.
• Modify work assignments and processes in response to evolving business conditions.
• Create tools, matrices, action plans, procedural manuals, and both regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve workflow challenges and formulate action plans.
• Build and sustain cross-functional business relationships.
• Lead process improvement work teams utilizing LEAN methodologies.
• Suggest process enhancements based on observed trends, progress, and barriers.
• Develop tactical plans that align with the department’s long-term vision.
• Act as an escalation point for prominent complaints and issues.
• Oversee assigned team activities, including hiring, coaching, professional development, and performance feedback.
• Ensure effective operation of assigned internal controls.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Bachelor's degree or a minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience (Required).
• At least three (3) years of experience in a management or leadership capacity (Required).
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an operations setting (Required).
• Familiarity with Premera products and systems.
• Experience with Premera's technical training or procedural programs.
• Proficient in quality and production management tools and systems.
• Specialized or technical knowledge/skill in auditing and systems.
• Experience in leading virtual teams.
