Enrolled Actuary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert advice on the design, compliance, and administration of combo plans.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve plan-specific issues with accuracy and clarity.

• Work in collaboration with software developers to suggest and enhance features that improve plan administration tools.

• Engage in the testing and validation of new software functionalities, ensuring actuarial precision and user-friendliness.

• Aid in the creation of training materials and client education initiatives related to retirement plan features.

• Assist in interpreting regulatory updates and converting them into actionable system modifications.

• Provide valuable insights during product planning meetings to align actuarial requirements with technical capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• EA designation is mandatory, along with current enrollment status.

• At least 3 years of experience in retirement plan administration, specifically with a focus on combo plans that include DC administration.

• In-depth knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations relevant to small retirement plans.

• Demonstrated ability to convey complex actuarial concepts to audiences without actuarial backgrounds.

• Experience with retirement plan software platforms and involvement in feature development.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data analysis tools.

• Knowledge of our software is highly advantageous.

• Previous experience in a client-facing support position.

• Familiarity with software testing or quality assurance processes.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
