English to Korean – Legal Translator, Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide legal translation services from English to Korean

• Offer legal editing services

• Utilize extensive knowledge of legal terminology and understanding of U.S. legal, judicial, and technical terms

• Produce high-quality work in a remote setting

• Accept assignments on an as-needed basis

• Complete security clearance procedures, including fingerprinting, if selected

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of professional experience in legal translation and/or editing

• Native-level proficiency in both Korean and English writing

• Proven knowledge of U.S. legal, judicial, and technical terminology in both languages

• Bachelor’s degree in foreign languages, linguistics, translation, or a related field

• Familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools; experience with Trados is preferred

• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail

• Capability to meet deadlines consistently

• Must be a U.S. citizen

• Willingness to undergo security clearance processing, including fingerprinting, if selected

• Generally available from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on most weekdays

• Available to take on-demand assignments totaling around 10 to 15 hours per week, as required
