
Engineering Technical Account Manager – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the main technology point of contact between Engineering divisions and designated business lines.
• Comprehend business strategies, processes, regulatory frameworks, and technological challenges to inform technical choices.
• Create roadmaps and strategies for technology enablement in collaboration with CIOs, business unit leaders, and product owners.
• Serve as a technical advocate and escalation point for service delivery, incident management, and change coordination.
• Convert business needs into technical specifications and work alongside engineering, infrastructure, and solution architecture teams.
• Track and report on service performance, compliance adherence, and project progress.
• Ensure that solutions comply with enterprise security, risk, and compliance frameworks, including SOX, PCI, FINRA, and OSFI.
• Facilitate digital transformation, cloud migration, and FinTech integration projects.
• Perform health assessments and CIO business reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Coordinate efforts among cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and third-party service providers for comprehensive solution delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical account management, enterprise IT consulting, or solution delivery within the financial services sector.
• Extensive knowledge of financial services and one or more business lines.
• Strong grasp of enterprise IT architecture, software development lifecycle, data management, Azure, AWS, GCP, and cybersecurity.
• Capability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in managing SLAs, vendor relationships, and IT compliance standards.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to influence without direct authority.
• Preferred certifications include ITIL, PMP, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
• Familiarity with Basel III, MiFID II, GDPR, and SOC 2 is preferred.
