This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of mobile engineers.
• Conduct performance evaluations and assess training requirements.
• Assign work tasks based on expertise, location, and urgency.
• Promote a collaborative environment emphasizing safety, quality, and customer service.
• Enhance the skills of Technical Supervisors through cross-training initiatives.
• Ensure timely completion of planned preventative maintenance schedules according to specifications.
• Coordinate reactive maintenance responses and emergency callouts.
• Track job completion rates, first-time fix statistics, and service delivery metrics.
• Communicate with clients regarding service delivery and engineering concerns.
• Lead performance management discussions twice daily with CEC.
• Review technician schedules and batch work orders for optimal efficiency.
• Optimize scheduling utilizing backlog, PPM, and in-SLA reactive work.
• Assist with technician assignments to fulfill SLA/KPI obligations.
• Review and authorize engineering work specifications and method statements.
• Provide technical direction and reactive support for intricate repairs and installations.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, building standards, and manufacturer specifications.
• Create RAMS documents utilizing Hands HQ.
• Manage logistics for approved quoted projects, including RAMS, parts, access, tools, and qualifications.
• Advocate for safety, conduct risk assessments, and implement safe work systems.
• Perform a minimum of two technician audits per month.
• Investigate incidents and execute corrective measures.
• Oversee access equipment specifications for CEC ordering.
• Manage out-of-hours schedules and on-call escalation support.
• Ensure the completion of technician certification documentation.
• Oversee day-one inductions, tablet training, and best-practice training for new technicians.
• Provide coverage for the Engineering Manager during periods of illness and vacation.
• Strong proficiency in IT literacy.
• Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising engineering teams.
• Solid technical expertise across building services disciplines.
• Familiarity with CAFM systems, including Corrigo.
• Experience with mobile workforce management tools.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Background in facilities management or building services maintenance.
• Competence with performance management systems.
• Strong leadership and personnel management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Effective communication skills across all levels.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities under pressure.
• Customer-oriented mindset with commercial awareness.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring and data quality evaluation.

• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent health and safety qualification (desirable).
• Experience in creating RAMS (desirable).
• Knowledge of CDM regulations (desirable).
