This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Engages in a range of control system initiatives.
• Capable of overseeing multiple project-related tasks and/or managing large projects from start to finish.
• Offers engineering assistance on projects managed by others.
• Takes full accountability for assigned projects and tasks.
• Guides and cultivates a team.
• Follows directives and seeks advice from designated project leads, supervisors, and company executives.
• Direct, train, and mentor colleagues during the startup and commissioning phases of systems.
• Execute assigned tasks with precision, on time, and within budget.
• Manage individual project-related tasks and/or take charge of small to mid-sized projects in their entirety.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on projects assigned to lead.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant field, paired with applicable technical experience.
• Generally, 7+ years of total experience.
• Proven track record: 3+ years in the role of Control Systems Project Engineer I or a comparable position.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting piping & instrumentation diagrams as well as wiring diagrams.
• Capable of providing insights regarding discrepancies between field conditions and drawings.
• Skilled in creating and modifying Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) applications.
• Expert in understanding, implementing, and advising others on the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Strong comprehension of complex control system design principles.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for intricate control systems.
