Engineering Manager – Team Monetisation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Sweden.

📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and support a team of full-stack engineers through 1:1s, career advancement, recruitment, and feedback.

• Take ownership of the delivery within the Monetisation domain, ensuring predictable and high-quality shipping according to a defined roadmap.

• Establish the technical direction with your team while maintaining a hands-on approach to guide architecture and resolve complex challenges.

• Collaborate with the product team to define priorities across VAS, payments, and escrow.

• Advocate for AI-assisted engineering as a fundamental aspect of the team's development process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing and nurturing a team of software engineers, focusing on professional growth and recruitment.

• A solid engineering foundation, ideally with full-stack expertise in TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js, and React.

• A demonstrated history of taking ownership of delivery for a team or domain, transforming strategy into actionable roadmaps and executing them.

• Comfortable remaining technical: reviewing designs, guiding architecture, and making informed trade-offs with your team.

• Familiarity with GraphQL and its application in large systems with various consumers.

• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Regular use of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Codex) in engineering tasks, along with a perspective on team adoption of these technologies.

• Proficient working knowledge of English is mandatory.
