Engineering Manager – Production Services Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand a team of engineers tasked with managing CrowdStrike's global production infrastructure.

• Shape the technical strategy for extensive distributed systems that support millions of security endpoints.

• Deploy AI/ML solutions aimed at predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.

• Construct and nurture a top-tier team while creating frameworks for career development.

• Propel automation initiatives to significantly reduce manual operational efforts by thousands of hours each year.

• Define SLAs, operational metrics, and incident response protocols to ensure global infrastructure reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of engineering experience, including more than 5 years leading technical teams of 5 or more engineers.

• Demonstrated success in generating over $100M in cost savings through infrastructure enhancements.

• Proven experience in scaling engineering teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• In-depth knowledge of large-scale distributed infrastructure (preferably 5M+ servers/endpoints).

• Strong foundation in ML Engineering and AI applications aimed at infrastructure optimization.

• Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, virtualization, cloud platforms, and bare metal orchestration.

• Skillful in infrastructure automation, CI/CD systems, and configuration management on a large scale.

• Familiarity with observability platforms, log aggregation, and event-driven architecture.

• Proven track record of leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.

• Experience in presenting technical strategies to senior leadership.

• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to oversee complex, multi-quarter initiatives.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and business audiences.
