Engineering Manager, Product Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and cultivate a team of engineers specializing in frontend, backend, and full-stack technologies.

• Take ownership of the execution of key product initiatives from initial scoping through to delivery and iteration.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams on roadmap planning, assessing tradeoffs, and setting priorities.

• Ensure consistent delivery while upholding high standards for quality, reliability, and maintainability.

• Provide technical guidance through design reviews, architectural discussions, and support for engineers in overcoming obstacles.

• Work collaboratively across engineering teams to facilitate smooth integrations and promote shared ownership.

• Establish a solid foundation of engineering principles: comprehensive documentation, observability, testing, and operational excellence.

• Promote a culture centered around ownership, speed, and effective communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, along with 2–5+ years of experience in people management.

• Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams (frontend + backend).

• Strong background in product engineering with experience in delivering user-facing workflows or product interfaces.

• Capability to navigate effectively through ambiguous problem areas and act quickly with incomplete information.

• Technical expertise that enables you to assess designs, review code, and guide architectural choices.

• Exceptional communication abilities and adept at fostering cross-functional partnerships.
