This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and develop a team of product engineers through mentorship, constructive feedback, and technical guidance.
• Drive significant product initiatives from conception to launch while balancing speed, reliability, and quality.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and product roadmaps.
• Guide decisions on system design and assist in navigating architectural trade-offs.
• Promote ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and effective engineering processes within the team.
• Decompose complex problems into manageable milestones that deliver immediate value and support long-term platform evolution.
• Ensure that teams are aware of the developer experience and the impact on customers.
• Work closely with product management, customers, and internal teams to align priorities and deliver impactful features.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as an Engineer delivering products and/or features affecting downstream business and product ecosystems.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing teams and developing engineers, including hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
• Strong technical expertise in system design, architecture, and engineering trade-offs.
• A product-oriented mindset that translates business objectives and user needs into engineering roadmaps and features delivered.
• Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution while ensuring high quality.
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration across engineering, product, and design teams.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for team outcomes and the long-term health of systems.
• Experience with developer platforms, cloud infrastructure, or DevTools is a plus.
• Familiarity with highly scalable distributed systems or infrastructure platforms is advantageous.
• Background in enhancing engineering velocity through tooling, processes, and team practices is preferred.
• Experience in building products that are directly used by developers or technical users is a plus.
• Successful collaboration with product, marketing, and customer support teams to boost adoption and retention is desirable.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
