Engineering Manager – Platform, Financial Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a team of 6 engineers at various levels, providing guidance on technical excellence, career advancement, and organizational impact.

• Spearhead the re-architecture of core account and transaction history systems to accommodate new product primitives and increased throughput requirements.

• Oversee the FinHub Tools roadmap, creating internal UIs, dashboards, and agentic workflows for engineering and operations teams.

• Influence architectural decisions pertaining to distributed systems, streaming pipelines, and full-stack tooling.

• Promote high-quality code and comprehensive design reviews.

• Collaborate with product, finance, and engineering leadership on quarterly roadmaps and iterative infrastructure goals.

• Work closely with the talent organization to attract and recruit engineers.

• Manage engineering quality processes, which include SLA accountability, incident response, and on-call practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering.

• A minimum of 2 years in engineering management, encompassing hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering and maintaining distributed systems at scale in production environments.

• Practical skills in code review, incident leadership, and issue triaging.

• Proven ability to translate ambiguous, long-term technical challenges into actionable plans with measurable milestones.

• Familiarity with financial systems, event-driven architectures, or high-precision transaction processing.

• Capability to lead teams that encompass backend services, streaming pipelines, and full-stack tooling.

• Responsible application of generative AI with appropriate human oversight.

• Strong appreciation for developer and operator user experience.
