Engineering Manager, Nav SDK, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead the Nav SDK team in enhancing the maps and navigation ecosystem at Mapbox.

• Mentor and nurture talent, fostering and motivating engineers.

• Encourage collaboration and innovation, creating an inclusive atmosphere.

• Propel strategic goals, ensuring the team’s efforts align with company objectives.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define product roadmaps.

• Contribute to business and product planning to shape the vision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in engineering management.

• Demonstrated success in leading technical teams.

• Experience overseeing cross-functional teams of 5 or more individuals.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in mobile software development (iOS or Android).

• Strong knowledge of SDK architecture, API design, design patterns, and best practices for creating and maintaining reusable developer platforms.

• Familiarity with Maps and Location Technologies, such as GIS systems, is a plus.

• Professional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level) is necessary for daily communication with stakeholders.
