Engineering Manager – Feature Team, Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• In your role as a proactive Engineering Manager for one of our feature teams at Ledgy, you will guide the engineers responsible for developing features that enable companies to offer, manage, and communicate various compensation and savings options, including equity plans, pensions, carry, and more.

• This position is ideal for those who find value in creating features that have significant financial implications for users, as ensuring accurate compensation is crucial.

• The work involves navigating a domain rich in complexity, high stakes, and diversity.

• You will report to the Head of Engineering and play a vital part in broadening Ledgy's product offerings as companies increasingly seek to provide a variety of compensation methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 2 years of experience in Engineering Management and more than 6 years as a Software Engineer, with substantial experience in product-oriented or domain-specific roles.

• Be motivated by features that have an immediate and tangible effect on end users — the elements that employees directly see and engage with.

• Value accuracy in areas where mistakes can lead to significant financial repercussions.

• Be adaptable to changing scopes — compensation can take many forms, and the product will evolve accordingly.

• Regularly utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and are eager to assist your team in doing the same, recognizing AI as an integral aspect of modern engineering excellence.

• Have a passion for mentoring individuals and fostering an environment where engineers can perform at their best.

• Desire to remain hands-on — you are comfortable engaging with the codebase, providing concrete feedback during PR reviews, and contributing to shipping code yourself.
