Engineering Manager, Data Feeds

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee an engineering team tasked with delivering dependable and scalable infrastructure for the Data Feeds product.

• Define clear engineering ownership to empower teams to execute reliably while upholding high standards of technical quality and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with Product and technical leadership to convert strategic objectives into effectively executed engineering roadmaps.

• Offer engineering expertise to assist the team in making informed architectural and operational choices while balancing delivery, reliability, and sustainable maintainability.

• Mentor and develop senior engineers and technical leads to enhance leadership capabilities across the organization.

• Propel enhancements in engineering planning, prioritization, and execution while minimizing unnecessary coordination efforts.

• Advocate for operational excellence by sustaining and enhancing the reliability and performance of customer-facing production services.

• Encourage collaboration among engineering teams to address complex distributed systems challenges and support ongoing product development.

• Extensive experience in building and managing production blockchain infrastructure at scale.

• Proven technical leadership and engineering acumen with the ability to influence architectural choices and gain the trust of senior engineers.

• Strong engineering judgment, adept at balancing product delivery, technical quality, operational reliability, and the long-term health of systems.

• Demonstrated success in leading engineering execution through effective planning, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Experience in constructing and operating highly available, customer-focused production infrastructure.

• In-depth knowledge of blockchain or oracle infrastructure, backend platform architecture, and operational best practices.

• Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing seasoned software engineers and technical leaders.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the capability to influence across engineering and product teams.
