Engineering Manager, Core

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead a full-stack engineering team dedicated to the development of core Enterprise products.

• Manage and support engineers while facilitating the team's execution across various parallel workstreams.

• Maintain close involvement with the codebase and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Assist the team in functioning effectively within a remote-first environment.

• Drive robust engineering execution across both quick-turn product requests and multi-quarter initiatives.

• Foster an AI-native mindset and assist the team in adopting effective and safe methodologies for integrating AI into engineering workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• An experienced engineering leader who is enthusiastic about being both a manager and a technical contributor.

• Comfortable in a position that is approximately 70% management and 30% hands-on coding.

• Capable of coding, guiding implementation, and contributing to architectural decisions.

• Proficient in modern full-stack development, particularly with React, TypeScript, Postgres, and Hasura.

• Effective in environments with multiple concurrent priorities and cross-functional requests.

• A strong coach and operator who can support a high-functioning, established team.

• Energized by building with AI tools and assisting teams in developing practical processes for effective AI utilization.
