Software Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Direct a team of engineers in delivering exceptional software for the EHS platform

• Oversee the team’s delivery, well-being, and development

• Remain actively engaged in technical work while driving results across the product

• Partner with Product Management, QA, and fellow engineering teams to strategize and fulfill commitments

• Eliminate obstacles and foster a team culture centered on quality, accountability, and continuous enhancement

• Maintain a hands-on approach with coding on a daily basis (75% technical role)

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably with SaaS applications

• 7+ years of experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, or similar technologies

• Previous experience in mentoring or leading engineering teams

• Expertise in technologies such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, and Angular/TypeScript

• Proficient in MS SQL Server, SQL, and stored procedures

• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

• Comprehensive grasp of object-oriented programming principles
