This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Co-create the Tribe's strategy alongside the Tribe Lead, balancing delivery speed, code quality, technical and operational debt, availability, and scalability.
• Lead and mentor Tech Leads and development teams within the Tribe.
• Promote best engineering practices, security throughout the development cycle, and automation.
• Translate business and product priorities into an actionable technological roadmap.
• Define plans for the evolution of architecture, infrastructure, quality standards, performance, and future capacity.
• Oversee the technical quality and operability of deliverables.
• Establish testing standards, implement robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines, and ensure observability and technical documentation.
• Ensure technological consistency and integration across products, services, tribes, and domains.
• Manage technical risks and operational capacity, aligning resources and priorities with business needs.
• Drive continuous technological improvement and monitor metrics such as Lead Time, bug density, and recovery time from failures.
• Software architecture and scalable distributed systems.
• CI/CD and continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Observability and monitoring of production systems (APM, logging, alerting).
• Management of technical debt and definition of code quality standards.
• Agile methodologies and management of squads/tribes.
• Experience with public cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Prior experience leading Tech Leads and development teams within a tribe or technological domain.
• Experience in defining technological roadmaps for architecture, infrastructure, and quality.
• Between 6 and 9 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Professional degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Desirable: previous experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Software Engineer.
• Desirable: cloud or architecture certifications.
• Desirable: experience in digital banking or regulated fintech.
