Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.

📋 Description

• Oversee the central technology team

• Negotiate contracts with vendors

• Manage financial budgets

• Lead the team in exploring new technology advancements, including AI tools

• Ensure the operational infrastructure and systems are maintained

• Support Sharesies’ mission of financial empowerment and fostering connectivity among stakeholders for both listed and unlisted companies

• Possess technical expertise and savvy to lead the team effectively

• Proven experience in negotiating vendor contracts and overseeing budgets

• Demonstrate curiosity and a willingness to guide the team through new technological advancements such as AI tools

• Maintain a proactive and organized approach to ensure operational systems function smoothly

• Ability to adapt to changes

• Must pass a Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check

• Must undergo a credit check

• All applicants must have legal eligibility to work in New Zealand
