This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assemble and guide a highly engaged remote team by recruiting, supporting, and coaching members to consistently deliver results while actively seeking impactful opportunities.
• Collaborate across departments, primarily with product, design, and support teams, to establish team direction and foresee strategic and scaling challenges through careful long-term planning.
• Partner with your team on the iterative execution of the project roadmap and create efficient and transparent processes for reliable and predictable delivery.
• Mentor and coach engineers within the team to enhance their professional growth.
• Collaborate with fellow engineering managers to continuously enhance our organization and foster a strong sense of ownership, belonging, and inclusivity.
• You possess over 6 years of experience as a software engineer.
• You have more than 3 years of experience in managing software engineering teams.
• You have a proven track record of working cross-functionally to develop prioritized roadmaps for your teams.
• You can effectively balance the delivery of new features, management of technical debt, and investment in system enhancements.
• You are hands-on, performing code reviews and investigating bugs as necessary.
• You are adept at writing SQL queries to analyze data and identify inconsistencies.
• You collaborate with your team to ensure they consistently deliver value and quality software through shorter iterative development cycles.
• You work with your team to enhance product quality, ensuring alignment with product requirements, customer needs, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• You provide technical leadership to the team and assist engineers in making significant technical decisions.
• You have experience working with engineers at various levels and have supported their career development.
• You are customer-focused, prioritizing their outcomes and experiences.
