Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee an engineering team, ensuring alignment with product and business objectives.

• Take responsibility for the overall health, scalability, and quality of products within the team's area.

• Drive the technical execution and delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions.

• Establish efficient execution and operational processes to empower the team and remove obstacles.

• Facilitate and continuously enhance development, planning, on-call rotations, bug triage, and metrics review processes.

• Propel execution on projects and objectives extending beyond the immediate team's scope.

• Coach and mentor engineers, supporting their career growth and skill advancement.

• Manage dependencies and the anticipated outcomes across multiple products or applications.

• Collaborate with Product, Security, and Business teams to ensure technical strategy aligns with company goals.

• Guarantee adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.

• Monitor and analyze team performance metrics to enhance quality, velocity, and efficiency.

• Manage team capacity and resource planning effectively.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying relevant innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.

• 1+ years of experience in an engineering management position.

• Strong hands-on software development expertise.

• Experience in building and maintaining applications using .NET and C#.

• Proficient in designing, developing, and operating cloud-based solutions in AWS.

• Understanding of modern cloud architecture, scalability, security, and operational best practices.

• Experience in building applications that leverage AI technologies, including AI services, large language models (LLMs), machine learning capabilities, or other intelligent features.

• Background in working within agile development environments and driving process improvements.

• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and cultivate high-performing engineering teams.

• Experience in collaborating across Product, Design, and Business functions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and a curious, growth-oriented mindset.

• Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours per day.

• Proficient in operating computers and phone systems, typing, and using multiple software programs simultaneously.
