Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead fullstack engineering teams for Launch and Websites, creating product interfaces that restaurant owners utilize to launch, activate, and expand their presence on Owner.

• Collaborate with Design, Product, and AI Agents teams on meaningful projects, including self-service activation processes and AI-driven website creation.

• Define and refine the architecture for a rapidly evolving, AI-enhanced product interface.

• Collaborate on technical direction across various teams.

• Hire, develop, and retain outstanding engineers.

• Promote simplicity, quality, and continuous enhancement across teams.

• Contribute to code and architecture evaluations.

• Remove obstacles for teams and lead by example when necessary.

• Align projects with company objectives in partnership with Product, Design, Customer Success, and GTM teams.

• Report to the Senior Engineering Manager of PLG.

• Collaborate with Design, PMs, and stakeholders throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Around 3 years of experience in software engineering management, leading fullstack product engineering teams, ideally in fast-paced environments.

• Proven track record of managing high-performing, engaged full-stack engineering teams.

• Experience in leading product engineering teams rather than focusing solely on backend-platform or frontend teams.

• Strong product intuition with the ability to balance speed, quality, and user impact.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks such as React.

• Experience with backend technologies like Node.js.

• Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration.

• Ability to stay hands-on and engage in coding.

• Experience in growth or PLG is a plus, though not mandatory.
