Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives across engineering, both technical and non-technical, that enhance team performance and foster organizational growth.

• Support and elevate proactive engineers, establishing an environment where innovative ideas can emerge, be recognized, and advance.

• Oversee track-level ceremonies, kick-offs, cross-team synchronizations, and retrospectives while allowing teams the autonomy to manage their execution.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to provide user experiences that are intuitive, reliable, and expertly crafted.

• Cultivate and uphold a culture of ownership, trust, and ongoing improvement.

• Establish clear expectations for individual performance, addressing any concerns promptly and constructively.

• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop engineers across various experience levels.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience managing engineering teams within a product-focused company (not in an agency or outsourcing setting).

• Proven experience in building or scaling zero-to-one product and engineering initiatives.

• Knowledge of structured onboarding and growth frameworks (such as career ladders, development plans, and learning paths).

• Capability to proactively identify issues, drive initiatives from start to finish, and make decisions with incomplete information.

• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, execute high-impact initiatives, and communicate effectively when facing bandwidth constraints.

• Proficiency in English (C1+) and fluency in Russian.
