Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, guide, and cultivate a high-performing team of engineers specializing in computer vision and machine learning.

• Take responsibility for the business results of the Computer Vision team and ensure technical investments are aligned with company goals.

• Spearhead the architecture, system design, and technical direction for scalable and dependable computer vision and machine learning solutions.

• Set high engineering standards through conducting code reviews, design assessments, testing, and implementing operational best practices.

• Engage in and supervise on-call operations to maintain system reliability and ensure service availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in leading and developing engineering teams.

• More than 8 years of experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or similar domains.

• Profound technical expertise in computer vision, machine learning, system design, and software engineering.

• Proven experience in directing technical strategy, architecture, and business outcomes across multidisciplinary teams.

• Hands-on experience in building, deploying, and managing ML systems in production, encompassing edge AI environments and contemporary MLOps practices.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field is required.

• A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a related discipline is preferred.
