This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Lead and guide the engineering team to cultivate a high-performing workforce.
• Facilitate building operations through a well-integrated facilities management and engineering team to ensure optimal infrastructure availability and client satisfaction.
• Create and uphold a strategic plan for the engineering team that aligns with JLL and client goals, emphasizing innovation and best practices while establishing standardized procedures for all engineering tasks.
• Guarantee uniform maintenance management practices across the account’s portfolio and ensure the attainment of Key Performance Indicators in accordance with the Master Service Agreement (MSA).
• Oversee the on-account service center, security, data management, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) managers and their teams.
• Proactively manage direct reports to ensure the account meets or surpasses all contractual KPIs for engineering, service center, security, data management, and EHS, allowing the firm to secure all incentive fees related to these services.
• Direct the strategy for the Asset Management Program.
• Spearhead the strategy for the Technical Maintenance Program.
• Identify risks to client facilities and work to eliminate downtime.
• Oversee the implementation and management of computerized maintenance management systems, ensuring alignment with JLL and client expectations.
• Be responsible for the JLL Engineering Services Client Assurance Program.
• Collaborate with the HSSE Director on compliance and reporting for relevant environmental health and safety programs.
• Execute JLL's technical training programs based on needs identified through skills assessments and safety requirements.
• Conduct technical skills assessments and administer the technical training program for facility engineering personnel.
• Ensure the Sustainable Operations team (Portfolio Energy & Sustainability Manager) develops and implements the contractual energy management program for the client account, including efficiency guidelines, energy audits, and internal/external benchmarking, while also engaging with utility providers and managing utility relationships as needed.
• Collect and disseminate energy management best practices and innovations.
• Establish and implement standardized processes for reporting energy, gas, water, and sewer consumption.
• Support Strategic Sourcing in the bidding, negotiations, and administration of regional or national contracts for technical products or services.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of direct supervisory experience in multi-building operations.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems in commercial and critical facilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
• Strong organizational skills and a collaborative management approach.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% throughout North America.
