Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 8–10 engineers focused on creating e-commerce platforms, growth marketing solutions, and consumer applications.

• Coordinate, develop, and empower both direct reports and other team members.

• Recruit top-tier engineering talent and foster the growth of the team.

• Mentor, train, and oversee engineer performance effectively.

• Construct high-scale systems prioritizing reliability, scalability, and business requirements.

• Engage in software development activities, including architecture, design, quality assurance, implementation, and promoting a robust engineering culture.

• Leverage advancements in AI software development to enhance the delivery of business value.

• Collaborate with product managers to define priorities, plan initiatives, and ensure technical execution aligns with business objectives.

• Interact with customers and stakeholders to collect feedback, provide progress updates, and guarantee meaningful value delivery.

• Remove obstacles for the team through both direct and indirect contributions.

• Cultivate a broad understanding of business operations and identify opportunities for increased team impact.

• Work in partnership with product managers and operations teams.

• Promote ongoing improvements in processes and standards.

• Directly contribute to the codebase as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership and people management role.

• Significant professional experience, ideally 10+ years.

• Proven track record in delivering SaaS, E-Commerce, or consumer-facing web applications/APIs.

• Extensive experience with distributed systems, cloud environments (preferably Azure), and modern architectural practices.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including C#, Azure, and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Bootstrap, and Vue.js.

• Experience with technologies essential for building scalable web applications, including Queues, Caches, and CDNs.

• Knowledge of SQL Azure, Azure Service Bus Queues, and Redis Cache.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
