Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a team of mobile engineers in creating customer-facing applications utilized by millions of drivers globally.

• Offer technical direction from the initial product concept through to production.

• Ensure the delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality mobile experiences.

• Review and provide insights on product designs, technical architectures, and engineering methodologies.

• Assess and suggest emerging mobile technologies, tools, and engineering practices.

• Set standards for technical documentation, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with product managers, product designers, engineering leaders, and other technical specialists to synchronize priorities and deliver value to customers.

• Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture emphasizing continuous learning, ownership, and measurable outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of practical software development experience.

• More than 5 years of experience in leading large-scale engineering teams and organizations.

• Preferably experienced in developing or supporting IoT or connected-device products.

• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Preferably experienced in leading mobile engineering teams and delivering large-scale iOS and Android applications.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
