Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, motivate, and oversee a team of engineers committed to the development and maintenance of UDS-compatible applications.

• Take ownership of the team's outputs, ensuring the prompt delivery of scalable and highly-available products that surpass customer expectations.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to set priorities and manage engineering roadmaps in alignment with product goals.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and processes, promoting innovation and efficiency.

• Mentor and support the professional and technical growth of team members, aiding them in advancing their careers and achieving their objectives.

• Facilitate effective communication between clients/customers and engineers, ensuring a clear understanding of specifications, budgets, and deadlines.

• Remain informed about new trends, advancements, and technologies to enhance product lines and improve production efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of industry experience, ideally in building, maintaining, and managing platforms and infrastructure.

• At least 2 years of experience in managing engineering teams, particularly in a remote, distributed setting.

• Strong technical foundation in software engineering, with extensive experience in architecting and delivering scalable solutions utilizing cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including deploying cloud-native software to Kubernetes.

• Expertise in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities, with a proven history of inspiring and empowering teams.

• High level of technical proficiency, capable of collaborating within the team to address complex problems.

• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently.
