Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

• Take ownership of delivery and maintain predictability.

• Develop and expand the team.

• Ensure quality and establish stability practices.

• Keep technical debt visible and actively managed.

• Manage risks and promote transparency.

• Set up team practices for AI-assisted development.

• Foster a robust remote and asynchronous culture.

• Oversee daily security and compliance protocols.

• Serve as a designated backup for the Director of Engineering.

• Manage stakeholder relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-5+ years of experience in engineering leadership (Engineering Manager, Team Lead).

• Previous hands-on experience in backend engineering (TypeScript or a similar modern stack).

• Knowledge of the crypto and stablecoin sectors.

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools within your management workflow.

• Proven experience in hiring and onboarding engineering talent.

• High level of agency: capable of leading the team with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and key non-functional requirements.

• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, asynchronous team environment across various time zones.

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
