Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a team of engineers skilled in enterprise IAM concepts.

• Offer technical direction and establish best practices for back-end architecture and development.

• Collaborate with product management, QA, SRE, Senior Leadership, and other engineering teams to create seamless user experiences.

• Supervise project delivery throughout the entire lifecycle: organizing, planning, development, testing, and deployment.

• Promote consistency through tooling and engineering standards.

• Assist in hiring, onboarding, providing performance feedback, and supporting the career advancement of team members.

• Lead a team dedicated to delivering top-notch IAM features and tools.

• Guide engineers, clarify requirements, drive execution, and ensure alignment with product and SRE partners.

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance over hands-on development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of back-end technologies, particularly Python.

• Robust understanding and experience with large, low-latency, and highly available distributed systems.

• Familiarity with IAM concepts and platforms.

• Clear comprehension of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile planning methodologies.

• Previous leadership experience.

• Exceptional communication skills.
