Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the advancement of our ingestion framework to support high-throughput ingestion of both structured and unstructured metadata at an enterprise level.

• Lead the creation of intelligent, agent-based solutions for effective onboarding and troubleshooting.

• Collaborate with Product to establish strategies, and engage with Customer Support, Customer Success, and Sales to address customer concerns.

• Reduce technical debt while enhancing developer productivity and ensuring long-term reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams within data infrastructure, platform, ingestion, or integration-intensive settings.

• In-depth technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend architecture.

• Experience managing globally distributed teams across various time zones.

• Capacity to collaborate closely with founders, product teams, and cross-functional leaders.

• Proficiency in balancing strategy, execution, customer challenges, and team development.

• Strong judgment, communication skills, and a sense of ownership.

• Bonus points if you possess:

• Experience with connectors, integrations, ETL, or metadata systems.

• A background in building or scaling developer platforms, SDKs, or remote execution infrastructure.

• Experience in a rapidly growing startup or a high-scale data platform company.

• Familiarity with Python-based ingestion systems and cloud-native execution.
