Engineering Manager – AI and Data Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish and execute the technical roadmap for AI, ML, and data systems.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists and ML engineers.

• Oversee the lifecycle of robust data pipelines, scalable model training, and innovative AI/ML applications.

• Direct the development and MLOps of Machine Learning models focused on cybersecurity.

• Design, govern, and enhance large-scale data pipelines.

• Work closely with infrastructure teams.

• Act as the primary technical subject matter expert and liaison.

• Create and maintain best-in-class MLOps practices.

• Supervise the design of reliable, high-availability APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Science, ML Engineering, or Data Engineering, including 2+ years in a technical leadership or team lead role.

• Strong architectural grasp of LLM technologies, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, ML Ops, and secure API integration with AI systems.

• Significant expertise in Python, AWS services (S3, Lambda, Batch, Glue, Bedrock, Step Functions, Redshift), and ML frameworks.

• Proven track record of successfully leading a team in building and deploying end-to-end ML pipelines—from data ingestion through model deployment, monitoring, and MLOps.

• Capability to design, manage, and govern secure data-driven software architectures for large-scale, multi-tenant, and high-security environments.

• Excellent communication abilities with a proven capacity to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
