Engineering Manager, Agentic Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers focused on creating AI solutions.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of production-ready agentic AI applications from concept to production.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Platform Engineering to prioritize tasks that yield measurable customer value.

• Cultivate a culture of ownership, teamwork, rapid iteration, and ongoing learning.

• Establish engineering best practices for agentic workflows, tool integrations, evaluations, and production readiness.

• Balance the speed of execution with engineering quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

• Eliminate obstacles, enhance development processes, and create robust AI applications in collaboration with the team.

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to convert business challenges into engineering priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on leading engineering teams.

• More than 2 years of experience managing engineers who develop customer-facing software products.

• In-depth understanding of modern AI application development, including LLMs, AI agents, MCP, tool calling, workflows, and enterprise integrations.

• Proven ability to guide teams through uncertainty and swiftly deliver production-quality software.

• Strong technical judgment to facilitate architecture and engineering tradeoff discussions.

• Exceptional communication skills and experience collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership.

• Demonstrated experience in hiring, mentoring, and nurturing high-performing engineers.

• A growth mindset accompanied by a collaborative, low-ego leadership approach.

• A passion for fostering inclusive, psychologically safe teams that value ownership and continuous improvement.
