This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the engineering delivery function for all current client engagements.
• Act as the primary technical authority within the engineering domain.
• Actively participate in client engagements, especially during the initial months while the Junior Developer team is being integrated.
• Collaborate with the Solution Architecture team to convert architectural designs into actionable engineering execution plans.
• Review and authorize technical outputs created by Junior Developers.
• Manage Junior Developers directly, including their performance evaluations, career development strategies, daily responsibilities, and professional advancement.
• Establish a comprehensive onboarding program for new Junior Developer hires.
• Offer daily technical guidance and mentorship to Junior Developers.
• Set explicit, measurable performance standards for Junior Developers.
• Define and uphold the engineering methodology for the BIS practice.
• Engage in weekly delivery coordination meetings with the team leads.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a lead, principal, or staff engineer position with technical ownership of a product, platform, or delivery project.
• Proven experience in managing or mentoring junior engineers.
• Documented delivery experience within consulting, professional services, or a client-facing context.
• Strong practical knowledge in at least two of the following: enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, AWS), cloud-native development (Azure, AWS, GCP), API design and management, microservices architecture, or digital transformation platforms.
• Experience in leading technical scoping, estimation, and solution design in a pre-sales or project delivery scenario.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamically evolving environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed.
