Engineering Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Utilize 3D solid modeling software (SolidWorks and/or OnShape) and 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD) to document designs.

• Develop comprehensive drawings based on 3D models.

• Transform 2D drawings into 3D Onshape representations.

• Ensure effective revision control for drawings and other regulated documents.

• Collaborate directly with contractors to address drawing discrepancies and offer solutions.

• Engage extensively with an Engineering Mentor and the Engineering Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience as a Load King Engineering Intern in good standing with the organization.

• Proficiency in both 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, OnShape, Inventor, AutoCAD, Draftsight, etc. (preferred).

• Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word (preferred).

• Experience with Monday.com (preferred).

• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Outlook (preferred).

• Capability to sit and engage in computer-related tasks.

• Authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
