Engineering Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Utilize 3D solid modeling software (SolidWorks and/or OnShape) and 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD) to document designs.

• Develop comprehensive drawings for 3D models using SolidWorks and/or OnShape.

• Transform 2D drawings into 3D representations in Onshape.

• Ensure revision control for drawings and other regulated documents.

• Collaborate directly with contractors to correct drawing inaccuracies and offer solutions.

• Engage significantly with an Engineering Mentor and the Engineering Manager as part of a developmental experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a Load King Engineering Intern in good standing with the organization.

• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks, OnShape, Inventor, AutoCAD, Draftsight, and others.

• Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

• Experience with Monday.com.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Outlook.

• Capability to sit and conduct computer-based tasks.

• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
