Engineer III – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new features and enhance products that align with CrowdStrike's mission.

• Collaborate directly with Falcon Complete stakeholders to create products and systems that address real-world cybersecurity challenges.

• Design and implement dependable and high-performance solutions for ongoing scalability.

• Enhance service monitoring efficiency and proactively resolve issues.

• Create automation processes to lessen the operational workload within the team.

• Engage in on-call rotations to ensure top-notch 24/7 operational quality.

• Design, improve, and manage core systems that assist security analysts in identifying malicious activities and preventing breaches.

• Utilize and expand Falcon Platform capabilities to aid Falcon Complete analysts and provide an exceptional customer security experience.

• Work asynchronously with Falcon Complete security analysts and advisors worldwide.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java, along with a readiness to use Golang.

• Comfort and experience working within the limitations of existing software applications and architectures.

• Practical experience in developing web services and data pipelines.

• Hands-on experience building services within a microservices architecture.

• Operational understanding of relational, NoSQL, and graph databases.

• Working knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or Kinesis.

• Fundamentals of Linux programming.

• Experience with distributed and scalable systems.

• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies.

• Knowledge of cloud observability tools.

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms like K8S.

• Self-motivated individual capable of thriving in a highly asynchronous, remote environment.

• Proven track record of employing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and achieve business goals.

• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Familiarity with modern AI technologies.

• Experience in developing products within the security sector.

• Ability or enthusiasm to mentor and support the growth of others.
