This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Capability to oversee large-scale data management and devise solutions for reporting needs as specified by stakeholders.
• Skilled in problem-solving and conducting root cause analyses for production issues.
• Adherence to standard SDLC processes and agile methodologies within a collaborative team environment.
• Foster internal and external partnerships to facilitate efficient solutions for diverse data, system, and application applications.
• Lead the creation and evaluation of data, automate reporting, create dashboards, and implement business intelligence initiatives.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of systems and processes to derive insights from existing data while applying agile techniques to ensure optimal delivery quality.
• Proactively assess newly reported bugs and participate in grooming and sprint planning sessions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for bugs and collaborate with other teams as necessary to resolve issues, providing documentation and updates to the bug reporter at least bi-weekly.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in report data modeling, possessing knowledge of the purpose of each field, and determining appropriate data field uses for reporting creation.
• Clarify reports to team members, detailing the subject matter of each report and the architecture utilized in its composition.
• Gather, organize, and distribute large volumes of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy through Power BI report development.
• Accountable for data mining, manipulation, and delivery to key stakeholders and executives in line with established priorities and deadlines.
• Capable of building essential relationships and delivering professional, customer-centric service to key stakeholders and executives.
• Spearhead the assessment of current and future data requirements and communicate those needs to stakeholders and product owners to support all business lines.
• Identify reporting requirements and ascertain how desired outcomes can be achieved.
• Tasked with developing and maintaining strategic reports sourced from multiple databases and systems.
• Perform systems validation for client data to identify discrepancies in totals or primary keys (PKs).
• Collaborate with team members as a mentor and provide opportunities for open collaboration to resolve issues or enhance reports.
• Possess practical experience with Dax Studio and Performance Analyzer, optimizing reporting based on analytical findings.
• Conduct code reviews and peer evaluations of fellow developers' work, offering feedback to highlight issues or necessary report updates prior to the report entering UAT.
• Present and/or publish finalized reports in compliance with publishing guidelines.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• More than 3 years of experience in developing Power BI reports (proficiency in M, SQL, and DAX languages).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare sector is required; experience in Revenue Cycle is preferred.
• At least 1 year of knowledge and/or experience with ETL and Azure data warehousing concepts and processes (experience with Azure Databricks is a plus).
