Engagement Technician – Weekdays, Saturday

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Handle a high volume of incoming calls from existing patients.

• Address patient inquiries and concerns regarding their ExactCare services.

• Collect outstanding patient balances when payments are due.

• Deliver outstanding customer service in a confidential, phone-based pharmacy setting.

• Act as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other healthcare professionals on behalf of patients.

• Collaborate with technicians, pharmacists, and specialists to ensure superior patient care.

• Keep patient records meticulously, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

• Provide additional support during peak patient call times.

• Assist patients with inquiries over the phone.

• Uphold AnewHealth’s Core Values in all communications and interactions.

• Execute other assigned tasks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Current certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA).

• Maintain pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy environment.

• Comfortable working in a fully remote and/or phone-based setting.

• Proficient in using computer equipment, technology, and various software applications.

• Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and medications.

• Familiarity with prescription intake, clarification, and transfer processes.

• Ability to adhere to state and federal regulations.

• Availability to work an average of 40 hours per week, including outside of normal business hours as needed.

• Applicants must have the legal right to work in this country.

• Capable of meeting the physical demands of hearing, seeing, sitting, standing, talking, and walking.

• Willingness to travel to multiple site locations within the assigned territory if necessary.
