Engagement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for the delivery of assigned projects from initiation to completion.

• Facilitate client status meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder check-ins autonomously.

• Develop technical expertise to engage confidently with clients and architects.

• Relay updates, issues, and obstacles to internal teams and client stakeholders.

• Document risks, issues, dependencies, and action items, driving them to resolution.

• Keep change logs that track modifications in scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, gaining stakeholder approval.

• Collaborate with client sponsors and IT stakeholders to establish BlueCloud as a reliable partner.

• Oversee complex, large-scale projects involving multiple concurrent teams.

• Serve as Product Owner when necessary, guiding business requirements and shaping user stories with architects.

• Mentor and support fellow Engagement Managers.

• Lead project quality assurance across all engagements.

• Proactively identify risks and red flags, fostering strong relationships within BlueCloud and client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ years of experience managing delivery for complex, technical, client-facing projects or similar roles.

• Hands-on experience with data engineering, cloud data platforms, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data/BI/cloud technology stacks.

• Proven track record of independently managing client-facing meetings and steering committees without executive or sponsor involvement.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously, including managing risk logs, change logs, and documentation.

• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical delivery insights to both technical and executive audiences.

• Bonus: experience in a Product Owner role, leading business requirements, or mentoring delivery professionals.
